Re: BB's TT
Keep going Brian, it’s worth it in the end. I’ve found a volunteering position that fits me like a glove……………bike hire/maintenance and boat driving (training provided)). This gives me satisfaction and keeps my interest in mechanical “things” going, plus the most beneficial thing……………well-being, in t...

Re: BB's TT
I get the week on/off working routine and how it interferes with projects. When I was working, we were doing one week in four “On Call” and early morning starts to get petrol station forecourts open ASAP (CCTV in canopies), that meant personal project work had to be timed to satisfactory halt points...

Re: AK47 “Silver Arrow”
Another year, another MOT! Audi-specialists, Burwell, Cambs have done me proud again. Faults to get through MOT:- O/S/F inner and outer CV boots, N/S/F steering rack boot and track rod end, as old one fubarred during removal. Front wheel alignment at no cost, helped. Again, I found great service, fr...

Good on you Brian, I bet you’re itching to get back in and have a drive, ‘cos I certainly am desperate to hear how it feels. Very impressed with your attention to details, I appreciate you taking the time to photo your progress, thanks. All the best to getting all completed.

Re: AK47 “Silver Arrow”
Attended evenTT at Gaydon today, well done organisers. First decent run Silver Arrow has had for a while and I was really impressed with fuel consumption, 229 miles and overall mpg was 32.3. I even saw a 33.7 at one point! This was driving via Milton Keynes going there and mainly A or M roads on ret...

Re: Newish Member from Norfolk
Hi, I’m travelling from East Cambs to TT Meet. Joining A14 (Newmarket) about 08:00. I’ll be doing A14, A428, A1, A421 and onwards! I used to travel this route weekly, during my RAF service. All the best!
