Back in 2016 I replaced the door pull handles as the originals were looking a little tired and at the time I also thought the aluminium disk and window switch surround were quite badly marked. The surround I picked up from the dealers shortly after but didn’t get round to fitting it and the disk was a lot of money for what it was.
Not long ago I finally ordered a new disk and recently replaced both.

That's made a massive difference, it's surprising how scratched the discs and surrounds get.

I bought some leather nearly two years ago to re-trim my pull handles, still haven't got round to it!

Thanks, it’s surprising how they can get marked like that. Good to know I’m not the only one who buys stuff then doesn’t get round to using it ;)

During January I started rebuilding the fuel flap that I had powder coated, it soon became clear that the thickness of the powder coat was going to make putting it back together a little more challenging than taking it apart. Careful removal of some of the coating was required and the holes for the screws and release mechanism had to be cleared to allow the installation of the screws and plunger of the release cable.
In addition the anodised screws I picked up from pro bolt didn’t have a shallow head so I decided to paint the original screws with Eastwoods extreme chassis satin black.
