Prior to reinstalling the springs and adjusters I gave the new headlight level sensor arm and rear drop links an additional coat of paint to try and give some extra protection against the inevitable onset of corrosion.

Ah right, thought it was just an amazing refurb job on them!
How are you finding the B14's? I had them on my Mk1 for about 6 months and found them far too hard for road use and took them off.

They are firm but after 4 years I think I’ve just got use to them.

As one job nears its conclusion another has appeared.
Looking at the pictures it can be seen that the upper OEM track control arms and the lower Forge adjustable arms have become badly corroded. Given their age this could be expected of the upper arms but the lower Forge arms are only 4 years old and have accumulated about 12000 miles, to be honest I am disappointed that the Forge arms have corroded so badly in such a relatively short time.
New upper arms and attaching nuts and bolts were sourced from TPS and I contacted Forge regarding their lower adjustable arms.
A few emails later and Forge came through with some excellent customer service and agreed to supply some replacement lower arms.

Just over a week ago now, finally had the time to install the HPA Touchmotion AWD controller, first impressions very positive, but need to find a nice twisty B road to get the full benefit of permanent 4 wheel drive.
Screen is a nice touch and the ability to swap between modes on the fly and it remaining in the last mode selected when switched off.
Lots more to discover over time and certainly a worthwhile upgrade.
