She held her own pretty well considering she's completely standard. She wasn't taken right to the limit, as Darren's not as familiar with the car and it's capabilities. I've just got to decide which sticker to put on, and where, but that can wait until Saturday when she gets a wash.

We did get some sunshine too, and managed to fit in a mini photoshoot on the way back from Lidl one day. The sleepy village in the background is where we had a holiday apartment for a week. Much nicer than camping with drunk Germans who never seem to sleep for the whole 4 days the racing is on!

It was certainly a trip to remember. Even the drive down there had its moments, like the number of looks the TT got driving through the Netherlands. At one point on the drivd, we even spotted a car (people carrier of some sort) in the next lane, that was full young lads/teenagers who were taking selfies with the TT as a background!

A few weeks ago, I got forced onto a kerb by a lorry who wanted my lane as well as his own. The impact took took a chunk out of the edge of the alloy, and sliced the side of the tyre on both the front and rear wheels. Plans were set in place to get the alloys refurbished, and two new replacement tyres.

We had two sets of alloys (mine from the TT, plus a set of 16" from the A2), plus a set a of winter tyres loaded into the the A2, and off we trundled. It's amazing how much you can get in the back of these things!

A week later, we picked them up, all fresh and shiny!

A quick coating of C5 to to protect the new finish, and we're good to go. I went for sparkle silver rather than the standard flat silver, just for a bit of a change.

I was very glad to get the awful shitty replicas off the car! They were cheap, and the tyres are good on them, but that's the only thing going for them!

I'll get these refurbished as well, I just need to decide on the finish.

All changed over, and back to being spotless!
