Hello All,

I'm a new member having recently become the owner of a Mk 1 TT mainly for summer use. The TT replaces a Mazda MX 5 that was fun to drive but had build quality of 1970's model. The TT is miles better on build quality and good fun on a sunny day.
Mine has some gremlins with the dash that i gather are not uncommon, so any tips or advice would be gratefully received. The temperature gauge is way out and the multi-function display has lines missing.
So far i have contacted the ttshop who are featured in the owners magazine who offer to recondition the unit for £299.
There are also companies who offer a postal service, however i'm not sure if the job of removing and re-installing the unit is something i n easily do myself.
Any tips gratefully received. 8)

Hi and welcome to the TTOC, there are guides on removing the dash pod if you search the internet and I think you could save yourself some money if you sent it to one of the dash pod repair companies.
