I'm creating this thread just to have something to look back at and to have my progress in a sort of timeline.
Feel free to leave any advice/ideas on how I can improve my TT and your thoughts about it.

I bought my TT from an independent dealer in Preston a couple of days before June 2011 after searching online for weeks for something within my budget with good performance and looks.

These pictures were taken within days of purchase (IIRC):

The first mod I did was fit Carbon Fibre door mirrors and stalks which I bought from McKenzie. They look great and I've received many compliments so far.

Then, it was time to lower the car with some nice springs, etc.... Unfortunately, I fractured my elbow whilst playing football with work colleagues. It was a 50/50 ball which resulted in me being catapulted forward and falling upside down on my palm (FOOSH). After several X-rays, Specialist Docs, Surgeon, Physiotherapy and Occupational Health appointments I was ready to drive again (nearly 7 weeks without doing so).

Finally I could do what I wanted, and having bought some H&R Springs and a rear Carbon Fibre spoiler in matte black from Robokn in the time I was broken I could move ahead.

After (with -30mm H&Rs all round):

At the same time I fitted the springs, I had my EVOMS V-Flow Induction kit fitted (which I bought from new from Regal):

Next up, to fit the Carbon Fibre spoiler. I decided to have it lacquered to make it Glossy to go with the gloss CF door mirrors (Paint Perfect in Lincoln did this for me)

And once the spoiler was ready I booked my car in to paint all four calipers red and have the spoiler fitted (even though it's an easy job, why not have it fitted at the same time for free, I thought.)

Very happy with how the car looked thus far.. but I wasn't done there.

My alloys needed to be refurbished so I thought black would be a nice change and it could look nice with the CF bits.
I booked the car in with The Wheel Specialist in Nottingham and chose the Satin Matte Black colour. I also asked them to paint my centre caps and bolt caps black.
And this is the result:

Enough to say that I drool everytime I look at my TT. Lots of compliments so far and lots of looks when I'm out and about.

And the last mod I've done so far is some blue coil pack covers and tubing. I believe the VW Passat R36 comes with these and I wanted some to go with my induction kit. I bought them from Awesome-GTI and fitted them myself (only took 5-10 minutes)

My next mods will be an exhaust and a remap, but these will have to wait as I have MOT, Tax and Insurance renewal due, and Holidays next.

I hope you enjoyed, and thanks for the time too look at my thread.

Looks well if you are going for black wheels I would have the outer lip polished
