Been out today collecting bits.
Just purchased a project block so I can take my time with my BT build.
Lucky for me it came with a AGU large port head so quids in really
Now to strip it down and send it off to the machine shop.
Then need to sort a full comprehensive shopping list out of what I need to order for the bottom end.

Engine parts are being delivered to workshop this week for the rebore then rebuild by Amac engineering in Northallerton.
No used parts are going onto the new block which I known does add costs but I don't see the point putting is ed parts onto a new engine so I've got a shopping list of New seals, gaskets and ancillaries in with Audi now.
I've also been in discussion with a body shop as I have a couple of dinks from inconsiderate assholes and I fancy a colour change.
I will be taking my old engine out in the coming weeks then transporting the Shell to the body shop for prep and spray.
Lots going on over the winter and I doubt many will recognise her in the spring.

Looking forward to seeing this once all the changes happen, will be a bit of a beast
Have you considered just getting the car wrapped instead of resprayed? Might cost a few pennies less and you can always change back to 'normal' once you fancy another change lol
