EvenTT10

With worries about rain and early morning wind that threatened to blow away our gazebos and anything not nailed down, it was with great relief that the day settled to at first an overcast sky, then bright sunshine and a pleasant breeze.

Duxford was a fantastic venue for this year's TTOC EvenTT for which we were also celebrating the TT Forum's 10th anniversary. With over 130 pristine cars having arrived and a good collection of traders from the ever supportive TT Shop, A-Plan insurance, Shark Performance, Dodo Juice, Prism detailing to the ever popular TT Spares, there was plenty to see and much enthusiasm.

The hangars held some remarkable aircraft from a Vulcan bomber which seemed impossibly big as you walked underneath the wings just above head height, to fighter planes and helicopters strung high up from the ceiling, with Concorde, Blackbird and an enormous B52 bomber it was a remarkable collection. There was even a fly past of Spitfires with the familiar wing shape reviving childhood memories of black and white films on a Sunday afternoon.

The prize draw and raffle saw many sought after items being given away from remaps, wheel alignments, services, to Forge products and even a supercar driving experience....

Quote from A-Plan:
"We would like to thank all of you that took the time to come over and speak
to us at the A-Plan Insurance stand on Sunday's event at Duxford. A-Plan
Insurance were delighted to offer a chance to win a Supercar Driving
Experience in our free prize draw. We are very pleased to announce that the
prize was won by Mr Les Melling of Horwich and the voucher is on its way! We
hope everyone enjoyed the day and look forward to being of assistance to all
members of the TTOC."

All in all EvenTT10 was a great success and a tribute to all who attended and made it a day to remember.
