Re: My HarloTT

V-power numbers update. I've now done just shy of 4000 miles filling up with Shell V-power Nitro+ for al bar 5 fill ups...even then I used the equivalent. The first 2700 miles I did on standard fuel resulted in a total average of 31.6 mpg. My average of the 4k miles is 33.9 mpg. Yes its better mpg b...

Now put a tank of Shell V-power Nitro+ in the TTS. PR-Shell-News.png Initially straight off the forecourt there was no change whatsoever. Not that I expected any change. However my trip computer did read higher than average but other factors can also explain this better reading. Anyway filled up on ...

Re: My HarloTT

Got the Windows tinted today. Very pleased. They are a touch darker than a Black Edition especially on the front. They have only just been done so still have the cloudy water marks etc After/Before 20160527_122533.jpg Can really see that the fronts are darker than average in this pic. Can see the da...

Re: My HarloTT

Managed to get some VCDS tests done. I know have all my base data for MPG/0-60/idle/constants. Re: My HarloTT

Before 20160514_223311.jpg After 20160514_223402.jpg Yes this could be seen as copying the RS but I like the honeycomb. Gives a sportier look, not necessarily more aggressive but more sport. IMO its head over heels of the OEM grey/silver and matches the upper and lower grills to give an overall bett...

Re: My HarloTT

Now then. The grill removal was awkward as it was tight. Those that say the grill can be removed without taking off the front bumper must have hands from an alien planet. There was very little chance of removing the OEM grill without breaking anything if the bumper stayed on. You could get the bumpe...

Re: My HarloTT

Installation took somewhat longer than I had planned. Didn't help that I started the morning off running round Norwich trying to find somebody with an air gun that was willing to tackle my rounded locking wheel nut. In the end some guys from tyre pro's did it for me providing I could get some replac...
