Hi all, just taken delivery of my 2007 3.2 v6 manual TT. I want to connect a CTEK trickle charger for when the car is not being used. Is there any preferred connection point ? i.e. do I connect to terminals under the bonnet or fit hard wired CTEK quick release connector direct to the battery terminals ? Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for the response Yellow_TT. I'll keep it connected under the bonnet for a bit longer and see if the CTEK eventually goes green.

Welcome to the TTOC!
I fitted a hard wired CTEK quick release connector direct to the battery terminals. Then I passed the hard wired through the bonnet, just beside the wiper screw, that allow me to close the bonnet and keep the CTEK MXS 5.0 outside the TT and close the car completely.
Kind regards,
