Hi All!
Just finally took the plunge and bout myself a a 99 APX 225 TT
After a challenging lockdown and completing my Golf Mk3 i thought i would bite the bullet and buy myself the TT i always wanted but never bought!
It's by no means perfect but thats part of its appeal as i love a project to tinker with
Its silver, full feather grey leather with bose and everything works! Even the AC blows ice cold!
Its on coilovers, adjustable rear arms, EBC drilled and grooved disks with uprated pads, Ram Air filter and full stainless steel engine bolt dress kit. Apparently its also mapped but can't confirm.
It also has some TTOC stickers already on it so am hoping someone on here may know something about it as it was briefly used as a track car before lockdown. Apparently it came from the Burnley Lancashire area??
If anyone does know anything I'd love to fill in the gaps of the history
Anyway i will attach a pic or 2 and apologies in advance for my future inane questions and advice seeking
Hellooooo!

Thanks all
Am loving the TT at the moment! Have missed a little project!
Spent the day with the polisher fully detailing the outside. Got a couple of areas that need some love but its looking good!
The last owner vinyl wrapped the exhaust diffuser in carbon effect. I wasn't a fan personally so spent what seemed like forever peeling it of, un glueing the panel the polishing it back. Also took the time to remove a couple of badges to clean up the rear
Anyone got any tips on treating/restoration of the leather? Mines feather grey and could do with a touch up
