I have a 2003 1.8 T BAM Quattro Coupe (225ps) in Avus Silver, it's my first TT and I love it, I'm particularly fond of the colour.
I've been a lurker on the ttforum since about 2021. Finally decided to join the TTOC because I like the look of the community and camaraderie, I hope there will be some local-ish events and meets this summer.
Last year I passed the TT to a friend who owns a tuning garage to give it the once over. A dyno showed 180Bhp before work started, but after a little fettling, came out with 242bhp and brand new brakes all round.
Although there are some OZ Superleggera rims fitted, I want the rest of the car to remain as standard looking as possible for now as they are good looking cars, I even want to keep the spoiler for now (controversial).
She's in the Bodyshop this week, having a little TLC, tidying up a few scratches here and there, and the roof liner will need some attention very soon as it's come down completely.
My next task will be a Colour Lock treatment (or similar) to the grey leather seats, but I've yet to identify the exact colour of the seats...
Well, that turned into a longer post than I expected!
Is there anyone else near Cardiff Airport?
