Hi - just posting up my first message to the forum.
Previously owned a diesel Mk3 Roadster as a company car but have been without for 4 years.
Just picked up a Mk2 Roadster 2.0 TFSi - previously owned by a family member who just wasn't using it. Very low mileage for its age, drives beautifully, and mechanically sound, but in need of some cosmetic TLC.
Wheels were done earlier this week, hood cleaned and re-protected this morning (still drying which is why it is up), but the nearside has damage low on the main two panels and scuffs on every other panel on that side ! Going into the shop this week to get that sorted. Fortunately the rest of the bodywork is in excellent condition.
I also have some interior parts on order to replace the GSM phone fitting, and an offside arm rest as mine has a cigarette burn on it. Both of which should be here this week.
TTOC plate surrounds also on their way and hopefully I'll get my V5 through this week and can get a new plate on it. After that it is just fingers crossed we have a dry September and I can continue to drive it with the roof down.
Looking forward to learning lots, and being part of the Owners Club.
