Hello everyone. I’m happy to have become a member at last. After some 20 years of TT ownership (a mk1 225 Quattro, a mk1 3.2 DSG, then a mk2 3.2 for 10 years, followed by a mk3 2.0 Quattro) I then strayed and bought an A3. But I’ve seen sense and have just gone back to where it all started, with a 2003 mk1 225 Quattro.
I may not be new to TTs, but I am new to buying and owning a 20-year old - so I’m almost certainly going to need some support and advice from the experts on here along the way.
So far, I’ve just been tidying things up a little. Today, I fitted new boot struts, and tomorrow I’ll replace the gear gaiter. This is about as hands-on as I’ve ever got with a car …and I’m looking forward to learning new stuff and keeping this one on the road and looking as good as possible!
