Was this my last trip out in Silver Arrow with the hood down in 2024???? Sorry she’s a bit dirty, but that will all wash off. Great trip……….hospital and back home…………. Good test for heater as well!

ImageHaving owned and enjoyed Silver Arrow for 6 years, come April, it’s now time to do a FULL service again. This will be an ongoing saga, as funds permit, so firstly it’s engine oil and filter, along with air filter. Then spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant replacement, Haldex oil, gearbox oil, not necessarily in that order.
Having done oil change I refitted engine undertray using some new screws and fasteners from good old flea bay! I was VERY impressed with the quality of these.

I’m currently sitting in hospital after having a stent fitted RHS, come back in 7 weeks to get LHS done. Reading through some of the discharge paperwork, NO driving for 4 weeks ☹️☹️I’ve managed to get SHMBO to photo the V5 and I’ve SORNED Silver Arrow for the time being, just topped up fuel on Friday 🤬🤬 I doubt I’ll see any TT action through the summer season and be reliant on SHMBO ferrying me around 😳😳😳😳
I can give a good, no, Excellent reference for the Royal Papworth Hospital on the Cambridge Addenbrookes site. Plan is to be discharged 1st April

Yes, all good but pretty boring having to do bugger all, all day. At first I thought I’d have plenty time to clean, tidy, paint bits on Silver Arrow! 5 minutes a day this week exercise! Leaflet on discharge from hospital tells me what I should do for next 4 weeks………..Not a lot! Weather here currently ideal for fettlin with cars. Oh well, hopefully see some of you guys next year?
