It has now been 5 weeks since it went of for repair, and after much stress, law books and countless trips to TTS in Bedford (who stopped at nothing to get it fixed), my gearbox has been rebuilt (2.6k!), car has been fully serviced, and the icing on the cake, the sun has come out. I sold the golf last week, so the transition is complete. I have a lawyer friend who is making a claim to the garage i got it from for the repair costs, so hopefully ill have some extra money for some new wheels
It hasn't been a great start to TT ownership, but i have every intention of letting that go and doing what i set out to do, enjoying an awesome roadster in the (short) British summer time. Looking forward to the first meet
for once I am not expecting a bill!
