Had the strut brace off the other day for a clean up and a clean around the top of the struts and bulkhead, trying to decide whether to get it chromed or powder coated blue to match the forge hoses.

The 1st year of TT ownership has arrived and I can hardly believe that 12 months have passed since I picked up my TT, a lot of work has been done, all carried out over the last seven months, below is a brief summary.
1. Cam belt, water pump and tensioner replaced.
2. Bilstein B14's dampers and springs fitted.
3. H & R front and rear anti roll bars fitted.
4. Forge adjustable rear tie bars fitted.
5. Super Pro bushes fitted.
6. New key supplied from Audi and coded to car by Dave at ADS Preston to resolve central locking issues.
7. Various Forge boost hoses and TIP fitted.
8. Turbo charge pipe paint stripped and polished.
9. PCV hoses replaced with OEM items.
10. Drivers side headlight removed and ignitor replaced by Jim Cotton at AwesomeGTI to resolve headlight issue ( light switch and ballast unit replaced but didn't fix the defect ).
11. Full service including coil pack replacement.
Plus my first TTOC event at the VagTuner Live at Donington Park.
Phew!!!!
Lots more to do and currently waiting for strut brace to come back from being chromed, next on the list, 3" down pipe , high flow sports cat exhaust system from Pipewerx in August. Possible remap after that
Working on my wish list for next year finances permitting, including brakes and body work plus keeping on top of all the general cleaning and tidying etc
